Flag Case Study
Custom Teardrop Flags for a School of Rock Halifax Opening Campaign
A workshop case study in high-visibility event flags for a grand opening, open house, and street-level promotion.
Published by Tokicraft

The project
For a location preparing for launch events, digital promotion alone is not always enough. A physical sign at street level needs to catch attention quickly, remain readable from a distance, and keep its shape throughout the day.
This project developed a group of black teardrop flags for School of Rock Halifax. The artwork included brand graphics and campaign messages such as COMING SOON and OPEN HOUSE.
Product solution
High-contrast print
Dye-sublimation printing was used on dense polyester fabric to produce a deep black ground, crisp white lettering, and strong red accents.
Tensioned teardrop profile
The curved pole keeps the flag face open and legible, including in low-wind indoor or outdoor conditions.
Stable display hardware
Each display uses a steel cross base with a refillable water weight to improve stability on a showroom floor, lobby, pavement, or event site.
Workshop QC
Finished flags were assembled and photographed in the workshop so print position, shape, hardware, and overall appearance could be checked before shipment.
Workshop quality-control photos
The photographs below show the completed flag faces, pole shape, cross base, and water-weight system during pre-shipment inspection.

Buyer response and practical result
The buyer's feedback highlighted the sharp colors, clear print quality, fast turnaround, and the flags' suitability for making the opening and open-house campaign more visible from the street.
